Patient Service Specialist

Through our growing network of services and partners, we are building a model that reduces complexity, supports caregivers, and reimagines how at home healthcare is delivered across the U.S. The Patient Service Specialist (PSS) is primarily responsible for coordinating all functions necessary for an efficient and productive flow of patients between check-in, treatment, and check-out. This position is a point-of-contact for all non-clinical patient services between the administrative offices for Comprehensive Therapy and Rehab (CTR) and the clinical office. The PSS will also assist with some day-to-day clinical operations to assist the therapist during patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service Verify current personal and financial information as needed Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned Cleaning equipment Assist Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Physical Therapy Assistants as needed Training and mentoring other CTR Patient Service Specialists Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent 1+ years of previous medical front office experience or equivalent Proficient in Word and Excel Previous experience with medical software preferred Proficient time management and organizational skills Team player with a focus on excellent customer service #J-18808-Ljbffr UNIFI Healthcare
