Responsibilities

• Provide PTA-directed interventions under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and range-of-motion activities.
• Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate changes to the PT and care team.
• Assist with mobility, functional training, and activities of daily living to promote safety and independence.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, precautions, and home exercise programs; reinforce adherence and safety.
• Maintain infection control practices, safety standards, and accurate charting; ensure complete and compliant patient records.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and optimize recovery in the LTAC setting.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant licensure/registration in New Hampshire, or eligibility per state requirements.
• Ability to work in a LTAC/skilled nursing setting and follow a plan of care under supervision.
• Availability to start on 09/28/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
• Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and comply with facility expectations.
• Eligible for employment in the United States and able to meet standard background and health clearance requirements; willingness to work the listed 08:00–16:30, 5x8 shift.
