We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Responsible for maintenance duties of breaking and physical plant including but not limited to routine and preventative maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds. Responsible for: testing and treatment of water and unloading trucks. Responsible for up-keep and operation of egg breaking machines, refrigeration equipment, boilers, electrical systems and generator. Manage and order tools, parts and supply inventories. Rotating on call position including nights and weekends.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for maintenance duties of breaking facilityResponsible for operation and maintenance of physical plantResponsible for generator upkeep and operationResponsible for egg breaking machines upkeep and operationTest chemicals and treat water for boilers and ice buildersUnload trucks with tractorCommunicate with breaking management on day-to-day maintenance issuesManage and order tools, parts and supply inventoriesSnow removal with shovel and/or tractor when necessaryResponsible for preventative and routine maintenance of building, equipment and groundsResponsible for maintenance operations of plant on scheduled weekendsPerform Lead Floor Person and Process Operator's duties and responsibilities when necessaryInteract with USDAFollow all OSHA safety regulations and proceduresUnderstand and interpret company, industry, state and federal regulationsPerform other tasks as assignedBackup:A trained designee will be appointed by management to cover for absences or vacancies; refer to Rembrandt Foods site-specific facility back-up matrix on file.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required:Awareness and knowledge of surroundings in relation to climate, atmosphere and equipmentMechanical, electrical, metal working and plumbing knowledgeAbility to operate power tools and equipment safelyKnowledge of basic chemical usage and safetyAbility to drive shag truck with/without tanker attachedDrive tractors, trucksAbility to work on a fast-paced lineAbility to work in high elevationsAbility to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understandOn call duties to include nights and weekendsAttention to detailHand/Eye/Foot CoordinationIndependent Self Starter/Team PlayerMathematical skills: General Arithmetic/Basic algebra/Percentages/FractionsComputer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Touch ScreensAdvanced English: fluent: speaking, reading and writingPreferred:Fine Motor SkillsEquipment:Rubber Boots/Frocks/ Hearing Protection/ Safety Glasses/ Hair nets/beard nets/Respirator mask/Harness/ Hard hatTrucks/ Tractor/Grounds-keeping equipmentHand tools/ Power toolsLarge push broom, kitchen pull broom/Squeegee, floor mop/ High pressure wand/ Air hosesUniversal Expectations:Follow all Safety and Bio-Security ProceduresEnsure that all care is provided with respect to customer, client and co-workers' rightsEnsure a safe and clean work environmentMaintain confidentialityAdhere to work schedules in completing and performing assigned tasks
