Registered Nurse – Oncology
Schedule: Rotating shifts including a combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts to equal 40 hours per week. Typical shift windows: 06:30–17:00, 06:30–19:00, 10:30–20:30. Weekend coverage variable; weekend shifts required as needed. Call may be required, with staff typically signing up on a rotation.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of RN experience. Travel nursing experience required. EPIC charting experience required. BLS certification required. Preferred: ACLS, circulating and scrubbing experience, robotic surgery experience (Da Vinci).
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in an oncology setting. Assess patient health status and communicate findings to the healthcare team. Develop and implement nursing care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Compliance / Notes: Current employees of the organization are ineligible; former employees eligible after 6 months away. RTO (required time off) must be included in the contract at submission. Annual flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed).
