Robotics Maintenance Technician

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Robotics Maintenance Technician to provide day to day maintenance and support to a large shipping & receiving facility that is fully automated in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area. This role will entail preventative maintenance & repairs as well as ad hoc repairs for the mechanical and electrical automation equipment in the facility. Due to the advanced technology and the automated machinery, this role will also involve a high level of awareness, attention to detail and electrical safety standards. Additionally, this role will require walking up to 30,000 steps/day. The shift is 2-3-2 schedule from 8pm - 8am.

Rotating Schedule:
First week: On for 2, Off for 3, On for 2
Second week: Off for 2, on for 3, off for 2

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years' experience with electrical & mechanical maintenance within controls & automation (would take a general maintenance background)
High situational awareness
General understanding of closed circuit loop PLCs
Any PLC experience - preferred to be Siemens Controls
Willing to walk 30,000 steps/day


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associates - Industrial Maintenance
OSHA 30 certified - electrical hazard safety
