Trauma Surgery ACNP/PA – Nocturnist (DFW)

StaffMed Health Partners is partnering with a leading healthcare system in North Texas to recruit a Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Nocturnist . This is a high-acuity, hands-on opportunity to work alongside an experienced trauma team delivering critical care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications

• Full-time Nocturnist Trauma Surgery APP role
• Manage Level II trauma activations and assist with higher acuity cases
• Perform procedures including EFAST, intubation, central/arterial lines, chest tubes, and laceration repair
• Provide care across ED, ICU, step-down, and trauma floors
• Assist in trauma and acute care surgery cases
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP/ACNP) or Physician Assistant
• Active Texas license (or ability to obtain)
• Trauma, critical care, emergency medicine, or surgical experience preferred
• Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• BLS required; ACLS/ATLS/FCCS preferred
