Edit Media Group is a social-first creative agency helping leading brands show up in culture through standout social strategy, content, creative, and partnerships. We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator who lives and breathes social and can turn ideas, trends, and everyday moments into content people actually want to watch. The Role We’re looking for a highly creative, social-native Content Creator to join our team in Los Angeles. This person will concept, shoot, and edit content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and emerging platforms for a variety of brands. You need to be equally confident shooting quick, lo-fi content on an iPhone and capturing elevated photo and video content on a DSLR/mirrorless camera. You understand when a concept should feel raw and native to the feed—and when it needs a more polished, premium visual approach. You should have a strong eye for what feels current, an instinct for what will perform on social, and the technical ability to take an idea from concept through capture and final edit. What You’ll Do Concept, shoot, and edit social-first content for client brands across TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms Capture content using both iPhone and DSLR/mirrorless cameras, depending on the creative concept and platform Shoot strong photo and video content with an understanding of lighting, composition, framing, exposure, and camera settings Create everything from quick, trend-driven social content to more elevated, editorial-feeling brand assets Translate trends, cultural moments, memes, sounds, and platform behaviors into brand-relevant creative ideas Regularly pitch fresh content concepts based on what you're seeing across social and culture Attend content shoots and confidently capture planned, behind-the-scenes, and reactive content Edit short-form video with strong attention to pacing, hooks, text overlays, audio, color, and platform best practices Collaborate closely with our social strategists, creative team, producers, and account teams Adapt quickly between different brand voices, aesthetics, audiences, and industries Stay ahead of emerging creators, formats, visual styles, editing techniques, and platform trends Who You Are 2–4+ years of experience creating content for brands, agencies, media companies, or established social channels Strong DSLR/mirrorless photography and videography skills, including manual camera settings Highly proficient shooting social content on iPhone Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and social-first storytelling Proficient in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere; Lightroom and Photoshop experience is a plus Strong visual taste with an eye for composition, styling, lighting, color, and what makes content feel elevated Able to create content that feels native and spontaneous without sacrificing visual quality Naturally plugged into internet culture, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, and emerging trends Comfortable working quickly and independently on smaller shoots while collaborating with a larger production team when needed Able to take feedback and iterate quickly Organized and comfortable balancing content needs across multiple clients Comfortable being on camera when a concept calls for it Based in Los Angeles and available for in‑person shoots as needed Bonus Points Experience creating content for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, or consumer brands Experience with lighting equipment and basic audio setups Motion graphics or design experience Experience working at a creative or social agency #J-18808-Ljbffr Edit Media Group
