Vice President,Business Transformation - Investment Lifecycle

Responsibilities As Vice President, you will act as a business process analyst within the Business Transformation team and manage projects that enhance investment lifecycle workflows across Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, Technology, and Data functions. You will identify improvement opportunities, optimize technology‑enabled processes, and lead change‑management initiatives around Order Management Systems (OMS) and related investment operations platforms. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve operating efficiency, strengthen controls, and mitigate operational risk. Key Responsibilities Partner with Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, and Technology teams to analyze and optimize end‑to‑end investment lifecycle processes, including private deal workflow, trade capture, order management, allocations, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing. Serve as a subject‑matter liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for initiatives impacting OMS, private deal workflow, and downstream systems. Support system implementations, enhancements, integrations, or migrations related to OMS and other investment operations technologies. Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and data integrity risks within workflows and implement scalable solutions. Lead business process design efforts, including mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows across Operations, Technology, and Data teams. Document policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and desktop procedures for clarity, consistency, and scalability. Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement new processes, ensuring proper documentation, training, and transition to BAU. Elicit, analyze, and document business process requirements using interviews, workshops, and data analysis. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders across business, technology, and operations. Support change‑management and adoption efforts—including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Manage projects end‑to‑end, including scoping, planning, resourcing, budgeting, execution, and delivery. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk/issue logs, and stakeholder reporting, including executive‑level updates. Lead organizational change efforts to support adoption of new processes, systems, and tools. Develop training materials, communications, and transition plans for stakeholders. Monitor adoption and effectiveness, providing feedback loops and continuous support for impacted teams. Qualifications 9+ years of experience in asset management or alternative investments with direct exposure to Investment Operations and the Investment Lifecycle. Strong domain knowledge of front‑to‑back investment processes across alternative asset classes, especially credit, including trade lifecycle management, order management, allocations, settlements, reconciliations, and associated operational controls. In‑depth knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS), including workflow design, configuration, integrations, and control frameworks. Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders across different seniorities and functions; experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational challenges with a critical‑thinking approach. Demonstrated success in managing tasks with competing priorities and deadlines while independently driving projects to completion. Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and experience leveraging data and technology to drive process efficiencies and mitigate operational risk. Education Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position; a Master’s degree is a plus. Compensation Base salary range: $165,000—$200,000. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, industry knowledge, and expertise.
