Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language needs. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide intervention services to help students improve communication skills and access their educational program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs (e.g., autism, intellectual disabilities, etc.)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with state guidelines and professional standards
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and materials tailored to student needs
• Complete required reports, billing (if applicable), and documentation in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Ability to work in various settings (classroom, therapy space, etc.)
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
• May require travel between sites or occasional home visits
• Must be flexible, patient, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
• Physical ability to sit, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and move as needed
