The Spray Foam helper is responsible for setup, tear down and cleanup of spray foam projects by expediting timely completion of assigned work to established job specifications, schedule and goals.

This isn’t the typical M-F, 9-5 job. Some days will be longer to finish up a job and others will be shorter due to the scope of smaller projects. Some weekend work will be necessary, although not often. Experience is not required but would be helpful and will determine starting pay. This is a good opportunity if you like different challenges everyday and traveling locally. This is an entry level position that will progress to a full time spray foam installer for the right person.

Pay is commensurate with experience!

Summary of Essential Position Functions:

· Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures including safety and quality requirements

· Arrive daily at scheduled time (This is critical to your success with our company)

· Assist the spray foam applicator to work efficiently (move hoses, ladders, scaffold etc.)

· Drive safely to job location & park vehicle

· Interact professionally & articulately with clients

· Prepare the job sites for clean and safe production: set up equipment, use protective products, etc.

· Scrape off excess spray from stud faces to prepare for sheet rockers

· Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Leave the job cleaner than when we arrived.

· Perform all work according to Kyle & Son Spray Foam standards and follow lead spray foam applicator directions

· Learn names of tools and proper storage of all tools

· This is the entry level position which should progress to the applicator position with time.

Additional Position Functions:

· Always conduct yourself professionally and have a neat appearance

· Be clean shaven every day for work to wear a respirator

· Perform other duties as assigned

· No smoking is allowed in company vehicles or in customers’ dwelling.

Qualifications: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education/Credentials:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Satisfactory respiratory physical

· Satisfactory DOT physical

· American Chemistry Council online safety training for high pressure spray foam required

· NY driver’s license and good driving record

· 10 hour construction safety certificate is a plus

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

· Must have the ability to work independently and as a team member

· Good communication skills

· Ability to read, understand and follow detailed directions

· Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

· Must have reliable transportation to and from company shop

· Work cooperatively with crew member(s)

Physical demands and work environment:

· Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis including lifting 100 pounds

· Ability to wear a full protective suit including full face respirator

· Ability to withstand working in hot environments

· Ability to work at high elevations

· Ability to work in confined, dark locations
