QA Test Manager

IDR is seeking a QA Test Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves leading quality assurance strategies for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation within the healthcare industry. The position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge health IT solutions, ensuring high standards of data integrity, compliance, and system functionality.

Position Overview for the QA Test Manager:

• Provide leadership for quality assurance strategy, planning, execution, and governance of healthcare IT projects.
• Ensure EHR workflows, data migration activities, and vendor releases meet business, clinical, regulatory, and project standards.
• Coordinate closely with IT teams, vendors, and business users to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
• Oversee testing of interfaces, data feeds, and downstream reporting impacts.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.

Requirements for the QA Test Manager:

• 11+ years of experience in QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager roles.
• Hands-on experience with data validation, data migration, and ETL testing.
• Proven experience leading functional testing across EHR modules including clinical, scheduling, and billing workflows.
• Expertise in validating data migration and conversion from legacy EHR systems.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira.
