Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in the planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Administer medications with accuracy, maintaining proper visual acuity and hand-eye coordination standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Uphold patient safety standards and interact respectfully with patients and care team members, honoring individual culture, lifestyle, religion, and age

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Current, valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license required, or eligibility to obtain
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to perform standard patient assessments using basic clinical equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Prior clinical experience in an Emergency Department or specialty setting preferred
• Certification in Emergency Nursing or relevant specialty preferred
• Membership in a professional nursing organization
