CustodianWorks schedule: 12 month Salary classification: Support Staff Salary Schedule Group A $15.73General statement of responsibilities: To maintain clean facilities for students and staff to enhance a positive learning environment.Essential functions:Cleans all assigned areasSweeps, dusts, vacuums, scrubs, waxes and polishes floorsEmpties trash receptaclesMoves furniture and equipment for cleaning and special eventsReplaces light bulbs and performs other minor repairs, as requiredProvides building security, as requiredPerforms special custodial work during the summer, as directedPerforms other tasks as assignedQualifications:A. Required education, training & experience: High school diploma or GED, preferred; no prior experience required; ability to communicate and work well with staff.B. Physical requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.; ability to perform duties requiring extensive walking, standing and bending.C.
