Maintenance Service Technician Property Group Position Overview: We are seeking a detail oriented Maintenance Service Technician for our property management portfolio. We are seeking reliable and skilled Maintenance Service technicians to support our growing portfolio of residential properties. This role is responsible for completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance and ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition for our residents. This role ensures that all units are maintained to company standards, work is conducted efficiently, and all maintenance activity is accurately documented in AppFolio. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and experienced in property maintenance and tenant ready processes. Responsibilities: Complete maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerPerform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues efficientlyMaintain clean and safe work environments Communicate updates on work orders and property conditionsEnsure all work is completed to company standards and local codes Qualifications: Prior maintenance or handyman experience preferred Strong understanding of residential building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances)Inspections experience is a plusStrong problem- solving skills and attention to detailStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and prioritiesExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyProficient with AppFolio or similar property management softwareMust have valid drivers license Benefits: Competitive pay based on experienceMedical insurancePaid time off and holidaysConsistent work opportunitiesCompany vehicle for business use Compensation: Pay range: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)
