Maintenance Mechanic

This position pays $28.48 per hour! We're looking for a full-time, Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas. As the Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright), here's the work you'll do:

• Maintains machines and equipment in efficient operating condition.
• Ability to dismantle, install or repair machines, power shafting, pulleys, jacks, and trucks to aid moving machinery.
• Sets up heavy machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
• Performs maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles, fork trucks, trailers, etc.
• Scales and instruments calibration
• Ability to weld during fabrication.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Basic mathematics and measurement capabilities
• Knowledge of security regulations (ATF, DSS, Homeland Security)
• Ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills

And if you have these qualifications:

• High School and/or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum experience
• Forklift
