Fabricator – 1st Shift

Pay: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday . No weekends

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our team. This position requires strong welding and fabrication experience along with the ability to read and work from blueprints and prints. The ideal candidate has experience with TIG and MIG welding, metal fabrication, and polishing multiple types of metal. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to expand their skills into areas such as custom welding, construction, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals
• Fabricate components according to blueprints, prints, and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
• Cut, bend, roll, form, and finish metal components
• Polish and finish multiple types of metal
• Measure and inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Assist with custom fabrication and welding projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong welding experience is required
• Fabrication experience is required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/prints is required
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding
• Experience polishing and finishing multiple types of metal
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools
• Experience bending, rolling, and cutting metal is preferred
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as lasers, press brakes, saws, or other fabrication machinery is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay productive with limited supervision
• Willingness to learn additional skills, including construction, heavy equipment, and custom welding
