The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: What You Will Do Manage inventory transactions through total completion Ensure that orders are picked and shipped promptly to meet customer requirements Work with Quality on Non-Conforming Material requests Detect and correct inventory and shipping errors Identifying orders that cannot be processed and developing solutions to enable their processing. Track of expired materials (shelf-life items) via spread sheet or other system Work slow move no move inventory actions and support engineering charge offs Supporting both the military and commercial shipping lines Manage non-production S-Locs Work with Quality on Non-Conforming Material requests Manage monthly cycle counts (approx. 400/week) Keep track of expired materials (shelf life items) via spread sheet or other system Execute moving stock from one physical location to another one Work with Planning to optimize stock levels Support management of slow move no move items and support engineering charge offs What You Will Bring Associates degree with 1-2 years’ inventory experience preferred IN lieu of 2 year degree a HS degree with 3-6 years’ inventory experience acceptable Experience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferred Strong communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen Pay Range: $24/hour to $28/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. Work Requirements This role is considered 100% on-site position in Rockford, ILL You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
