Job Description:

Thayer Internal Medicine, a well-established and highly respected outpatient practice within MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join their exceptional care team.

This is an exciting opportunity to practice in the growing city of Waterville, Maine, a community rich with dining, shopping, outdoor recreation, and cultural experiences.

About the OpportunityIf you have a background in primary care, enjoy variety in your day, value teamwork, and are passionate about delivering high quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care, this role may be an excellent fit.

In this role you will:

• Have a full-time schedule consisting of 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of dedicated administrative time each week

• Manage your own panel of adult patients

• Deliver team-based care in close collaboration with physicians, care managers, and support staff

• Provide a full range of outpatient Internal Medicine services

• Participate in call rotation with other medical staff

While direct NP/PA clinical experience in primary care is strongly preferred, new graduates with significant related experience are encouraged to apply.
