Cardiovascular Sonographer

MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echocardiography Technologist) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Ohio. As a valued member of our medical team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality echocardiograms and ultrasound procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive echocardiographic exams including adult transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
Ensure optimal image quality, accurately documenting patient information and test results.
Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate findings to the medical team.
Educate patients on procedures and provide comfort throughout the examination process.
Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
Stay current with the latest techniques in cardiovascular sonography and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications:

Certification : ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
Skills : Expertise in echocardiography and cardiovascular imaging, strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, and excellent patient communication skills.
State License : Current state licensure as a Cardiovascular Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist (Ohio).
BLS Certification required (must obtain within 30 days of employment).
