Cardiovascular Sonographer MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echocardiography Technologist) to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Ohio. - Perform comprehensive echocardiographic exams including adult transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- Ensure optimal image quality, accurately documenting patient information and test results.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate findings to the medical team.
- Educate patients on procedures and provide comfort throughout the examination process.
- Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
- Stay current with the latest techniques in cardiovascular sonography and participate in ongoing education.
- Certification : ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience : 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
- Skills : Expertise in echocardiography and cardiovascular imaging, strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, and excellent patient communication skills.
- State License : Current state licensure as a Cardiovascular Sonographer or Ultrasound Technologist (Ohio).
- BLS Certification required (must obtain within 30 days of employment).
