Payroll Administrator I (Temporary) Location: Honolulu, HI Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, in-office) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approximately 3 months (based on business needs; potential for temp-to-hire) Pay Rate: $29/hr Parking: Not provided Position Overview Bishop & Company is seeking a Payroll Administrator I to support accurate and timely payroll processing for a well-established organization. This role will work closely with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll functions are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and procedures Assist employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution Prepare and reconcile general ledger worksheets, payroll journals, and tax reporting Support benefit-related payroll tax payments and compliance requirements Prepare and distribute required tax documents, including W-2s Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing Administer payroll and timekeeping functions within the company’s HRIS system Provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements related to payroll and HR functions Assist with internal and external audit requests and data reporting Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2+ years of recent payroll processing experience Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills No relocation.
