Sodexo Senior's segment is seeking a Hybrid Registered Dietitian at Birmingham Green, a 180-bed CCRC in beautiful Manassas, Virginia. If you're excited about enriching the lives of seniors through nutrition and compassionate care with a supportive interdisciplinary team, this is a fantastic opportunity! This position is onsite 4 days/week and 1 day remote of your choosing! Flexible shifts available! This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus!

What You'll Do

Provide clinical nutrition care to long-term care residents. Work onsite 4 days/week and 1 day virtually. Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned. Conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds. Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards. Work collaboratively with onsite dining leadership.

What You Bring

Registered Dietitian credentials and license in Virginia. Attention to detail, and self-starter. Confidence in leading, influencing, and partnering across teams. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors. Experience in a Skilled Nursing or healthcare nutrition setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire. Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
