Practice Details

\n

The THMG Cardiovascular Group is a regional cardiology practice featuring a 10-physician cardiology group in Muskegon , providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to the lakeshore and surrounding communities. The group is part of THMG Cardiology, West Michigan, and participates in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a joint venture between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health West.

\n This opportunity is for a straight Interventional Cardiologist . No structural heart time is included.

\n

\n

Trinity Health Muskegon also has a strong Cardio-Thoracic program that further supports the Structural Health program and ever-growing EP service.

\n

We promote a strong interdisciplinary model of care utilizing Advance Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to augment our professional providers.

\n

Clinic visits include 12-15 per day and Cath Lab: 3-6 procedures per day depending on schedule and preference.

\n

Call requirement is no more than 1:5

• Coumadin testing and teaching

• Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) management

• Full-service pacemaker/implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Clinic and remote monitoring

• Presurgical evaluation

• Valvular Heart Disease

• Cardiac catheterizations
\n
• Coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI)
\n
• Electrical cardioversions
\n
• Emergency (heart attack) angioplasty

• Inpatient consultation
\n
• Inpatient diagnostic testing
\n
• Pacemaker, bi-ventricular pacemaker, internal cardiac defibrillator implantation and loop recorders

• Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)
\n
• Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)

Requirements

\n

\n
• Physicians: Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
\n
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• DEA license
\n
• BLS certification (must be maintained)
