Operations Application Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Application Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for the effective and successful management of the retention, supervision, and discovery of electronic communications for regulated lines of business. The Operations Application Analyst will ensure application availability and performance meet or exceed business needs, enable adherence to regulatory requirements, and provide technical support for the business partners that use the retention and supervision platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all production regulated messaging applications are performing and providing a stable platform
• Manage and support all applications that enable compliant supervision review of electronic communications
• Provide service delivery to all Supervision & eDiscovery users
• Ensure successful implementation and validation of application service changes
• Maintain support relationships with eDiscovery and Legal teams to make sure business strategies are consistently met
• Ensure that business partner priorities are identified, implemented, and communicated as it pertains to Supervision policy management
• Interface with EC Compliance to ensure adherence to compliance requirements via technical controls and reporting
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teammates
• Collaborate with vendors and outside technical support teams
• Effectively manage workloads based on priority and urgency
• Create and maintain knowledge base and procedural documentation

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of working in a technical operations role
• Strong working knowledge of ITIL standards and practices
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven communication skills on a technical and non-technical level
• Proven process documentation skills
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems and internet browsers
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Powershell and MS SQL Server
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting
• Ability to participate with on-call support rotations

Desired skills:

• Exposure to electronic communications retention and supervision platforms
• Exposure to regulatory compliance rules and regulations
• Experience with automation of recurring processes
• SQL Scripting
• PowerShell and/or Python Scripting

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
