Position: Server Assistant

Benifits: Half off meals upto $22.00, free meals for double shifts, insurance for full time employees

Job Summary

Upstream Brewing, a popular brewery and restaurant in Omaha, NE, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in resetting and cleaning tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure tables and chairs are properly cleaned with sanition wipes.
• Monitor table cleanliness and promptly bus tables when guests have finished their meals.
• Must be able to frequently lift bus tubs and trash cans up 40 lbs..
• Follow daily cleaning schedule of high chairs, booster chairs, window leges, and floors.
• Be able communicate with servers and host/hostess when tables are clean and set.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events and private parties.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service.
• Ability to work well within a team and take direction from others.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk multiple floors, lift, and carry heavy trays for extended periods.
