Pay for this entry-level production position starts at $20.25 per hour and is dependent on relevant experience. Based in the heart of rural Menominee County MI we are a privately-owned full-service designer and manufacturer of blending and convey equipment for the plastics industry. We have state-of-the-art fabrication machining and panel-building facilities in Wallace. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RECEIVING ASSISTANT
As a Receiving Assistant you will help ensure incoming materials are unloaded and accurately accounted for. Your day will include a variety of tasks such as unloading deliveries checking shipments against bills of lading invoices and other records and using our ERP system to record materials received issued or returned. You will also be responsible for reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to Quality Control using the appropriate processes. Safety Always is our motto which you will support by keeping your work area and equipment clean and orderly and following company policies and procedures as you work.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RECEIVING ASSISTANT
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Forklift certified or become certified within 30 days
- Effective written and verbal communication skills organized and detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer proficiency
- Read and interpret blue prints
- Familiarity with packaging methods preferred
WORK SCHEDULE AS A RECEIVING ASSISTANT
The typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 5 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 AM - 9 AM with weekends free !
