As a full-time LCSW, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to a diverse range of students with special needs, working remotely to facilitate effective care and support.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while maintaining high-quality communication with students, staffs, and families. You will collaborate closely with other professionals, including educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide integrated care. While the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts, rotating weekend on-calls, and after-hours responsibilities for crisis interventions.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for emotional and behavioral disorders, focusing on ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing specialized techniques to promote personal growth and emotional regulation.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that students receive holistic and comprehensive care.

  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and mental health support during emergencies, ensuring safety and effective action plans.

  • Educate students and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, fostering a supportive community.

  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with legal, ethical standards, and organizational policies.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with students who present with a variety of special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and ADHD. This role is critical in fostering a safe and inclusive educational atmosphere that caters to the unique developmental, emotional, and social challenges these students face.

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Minimum of two years post-licensure experience working in a clinical or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
