Experienced Long-Term Care / Nurse Recruiter

Location: Omaha, NE | Onsite
Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 Base Salary + Commission (six figure potential)

Nebraska First Staffing is partnering with an established healthcare staffing organization seeking an experienced Long-Term Care / Nurse Recruiter to join its Omaha team.

We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven recruiter with a passion for connecting healthcare professionals with rewarding career opportunities. What You'll Do

• Recruit and place healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, in long-term care and other healthcare settings.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate experience, qualifications, career goals, and assignment preferences.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach and screening through placement and onboarding.
• Partner with credentialing and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition into assignments.
• Develop lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, encouraging repeat assignments and referrals.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Consistently work toward placement goals while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or nurse recruiting.
• Proven ability to source, engage, and place qualified healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing the full recruiting process from sourcing through placement.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and candidate databases.
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska .

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Base Salary: $50,000 annually, plus commission.
• Base Salary Increase: Grow to $60,000 annually upon reaching 6–8 healthcare professionals on assignment (TOA), depending on assignment margins.
