Role Description The Head Coach role is a full-time, on-site position based in Erie, PA, responsible for leading store operations and team performance. This role oversees daily activities including managing staff schedules, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring high standards of guest service and store presentation. The Head Coach drives sales by engaging guests, promoting products, and fostering a welcoming environment that reflects local team pride and Rally House culture. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory, supporting visual merchandising, executing company promotions, and maintaining operational compliance with company policies and procedures. The Head Coach collaborates closely with leadership to achieve store goals, mentor emerging leaders, and create an inclusive, positive workplace where every fan feels at home. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with strong customer service, guest engagement, and conflict-resolution skills. Leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and the ability to motivate and develop others. Operational and organizational skills, such as managing schedules, monitoring inventory, supporting merchandising, and maintaining store standards. Communication and interpersonal strengths, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build positive relationships with team members and guests. Basic business and sales acumen, including understanding of sales targets, key performance metrics, and techniques to drive revenue and store performance. Ability to work on-site in Clarksburg, Md, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Demonstrated passion for sports, local teams, and fan culture; prior experience in sports retail or fan-focused environments is a plus.
