Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for client office locations in the Myrtle Beach area. The role involves collecting blood specimens using various techniques, processing patient information, and providing customer service across multiple clinic sites on a split-week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing and collect patient payments as required
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass color blindness screening test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work independently and handle minimal supervision
