About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ED/Trauma Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12 hour nights, every 4th weekend max (Weekend considered every Friday and Saturday nights) Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Requires current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. - American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). - Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC). - American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within one year of hire. Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
