Description

Population Served: Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) RN I/DD Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads
• Coordinate medical care, appointments, and follow-up for individuals with I/DD
• Oversee medication administration and ensure regulatory compliance
• Advocate for people supported within healthcare and clinical settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
• Support and educate staff on health, safety, and medical best practices

Qualifications

• New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• I/DD, residential, or community-based nursing experience preferred
• Commitment to person-first, compassionate care
• Valid NYS driver's license

Education

High School or better.
