Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are. Job Responsibilities: Perform the tasks on the Housekeeping Checklist including daily, weekly, monthly, etc. assignments. Report when inventory of cleaning supplies/items are low and need to be reordered. Ensure boxes and other large items that need to be disposed of are taken to the compactor. Supports MAFACT activities as position requires. Trains employees new to position. Treats team members with dignity and respect and in accordance with the Magna Employee’s Charter and Core Values, which includes a commitment to fair treatment and a safe and healthful workplace. Support and participate in division and department improvement initiatives through Continuous Improvement Suggestion Program, and sharing of knowledge, ideas, and/or best practices with co-workers. Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to including IATF 2016:16949, ISO14001 (EMS), Mafactand Employee Handbook. Follows MIOSHA and MPTSH safety regulations and policies, including wearing required P.P.E. (Personal ProtectiveEquipment). Reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Leader. Complies with the designated ISO / 14001 responsibilities related to effective environmental management in accordance with MPT’s Environmental Management System (EMS). Minimum Requirements Ability to mop, shovel, scrub and work with cleaning chemicals. Knowledge and compliance of safety procedures and policies. Team-oriented work approach. Ability to work overtime as required. Excellent attendance and performance record. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Demonstrates Core Values. Self-starter who is positive and professional.
