# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Virginia**Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Location:** Richmond, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Flexible shift scheduling with weekend availability required; no on-call responsibilities**Highlights:**- 50-bed cardiac monitored Emergency Department plus 8-bed Rapid Treatment Area- Manageable 4:1 patient ratios with strong team support- Full ED scope of practice with diverse case presentations- Meditech EMR system with GE cardiac monitoring equipment- Collaborative environment with RN, Clinical Navigator, EDT, and EMS staff support- Navy scrub dress code; no floating to other units**Requirements:**- Active RN license (or ability to obtain by start date)- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required- Emergency Department experience strongly preferred- TNCC, ENP, or CEN certification a plus- Positive attitude with demonstrated teamwork and flexibility**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Emergency Department team in a busy yet supportive setting.
