Program Manager

The Program Manager is the operational and delivery “conductor” across Skaled engagements, responsible for turning defined client workstreams into realistic, actionable, profitable, and timely execution plans that can be delivered at scale across multiple clients.

This role supports delivery across Skaled's core service lines, including Revenue Strategy engagements and AI engagements . Work may span areas such as sales leadership, sales enablement, revenue and marketing operations, CRM and sales technology ecosystems, process design, AI strategy, AI implementation, workflow automation, enablement, and adoption.

The Program Manager owns the delivery system for the practice, including templates, governance, reporting rhythms, and execution standards. They ensure every engagement has strong planning discipline, clean execution mechanics, and clear portfolio visibility.

This person brings strong business and operational fluency rather than deep technical specialization. They are not expected to configure tools, build automations, or architect systems themselves, but they should understand how modern go-to-market teams operate and how AI initiatives are implemented within business environments. They can pressure-test feasibility, identify delivery risks early, and ensure work is sequenced correctly across strategy, design, implementation, enablement, and adoption.

Core Responsibilities

1. Own the Delivery System

• Own the operational setup and ongoing optimization of Asana across Skaled engagements.
• Maintain standardized project templates, task structures, milestone frameworks, and dashboards.
• Ensure every engagement is set up cleanly and consistently from day one.
• Partner with Practice Leaders and Operations to improve delivery templates, workflows, and governance over time.
• Create scalable delivery practices that support both Revenue Strategy and AI engagements.

2. Build and Maintain Client Roadmaps

• Gather initial roadmap inputs from the Engagement Lead or Lead Consultant and translate them into a detailed execution plan.
• Build clear roadmaps with owners, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
• Ensure roadmaps are realistic, sequenced properly, and aligned to scope, budget, and delivery goals.
• Maintain both a next up list for near-term priorities and a backlog list for longer-term initiatives on every engagement.
• Keep roadmaps current and structured consistently across all client work.

3. Drive Execution and Surface Risk Early

• Run the internal weekly production meetings for each client engagement.
• Drive agendas, track action items, and ensure teams leave with clear next steps and owners.
• Identify blockers, delivery risks, scope creep, and dependency issues early.
• Pressure-test timelines, sequencing, and effort assumptions to avoid rework and missed deadlines.
• Escalate issues proactively when they threaten delivery quality, client outcomes, margin, or team efficiency.

4. Monitor Pacing, Scope, and Engagement Health

• Track progress against roadmap, timeline, and key milestones across active engagements.
• Monitor for off-roadmap asks and flag requests that may create scope creep or reduce profitability.
• Identify where work can be accelerated when consultants have additional capacity.
• Ensure overages are surfaced early and tied to a clear action plan, such as reprioritization, de-scope, or change order discussion.
• Partner with Consulting Operations and Practice Leaders to maintain visibility into delivery health and pacing.

5. Provide Portfolio Visibility and Reporting

• Produce and maintain weekly reporting summaries across Skaled's book of business.
• Provide visibility into delivery health, roadmap progress, risks, blockers, scope drift, and milestone status.
• Partner with Operations and Practice Leaders on dashboards and reporting infrastructure.
• Ensure leadership has a clear, decision-ready view of priorities and portfolio health.
• Support consistent reporting rhythms that improve accountability and cross-functional alignment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Multi-Engagement Consulting Experience

• 5–10+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, agency, or other fast-paced client service environments
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements at once
• Experience maintaining execution quality across competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
• Ability to shift across industries, business models, and client maturity levels

Delivery & Program Management Expertise

• Strong experience owning project or program management systems such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or similar tools
• Experience building or improving templates, governance models, reporting cadences, and delivery processes
• Experience running internal production meetings and maintaining milestone discipline
• Ability to turn high-level goals into clear plans with owners, sequencing, timelines, and dependencies

Business, GTM & AI Fluency

• Strong working knowledge of modern go-to-market functions, such as sales, enablement, revenue operations, CRM ecosystems, analytics, automation, and adoption
• Comfort supporting AI-related engagements, including AI strategy, workflow automation, implementation planning, rollout, enablement, and adoption
• Ability to understand how business and technical initiatives actually get delivered, even without being the hands-on builder
• Strong instincts for where projects commonly break down, including unclear requirements, poor handoffs, stakeholder misalignment, data issues, integration dependencies, or adoption risk

Portfolio & Operational Management

• Experience managing a portfolio or book of work, not just a single project
• Strong awareness of pacing, scope control, margin health, and delivery risk
• Ability to identify overages, timeline risk, and execution bottlenecks before they become larger problems
• Experience producing executive-ready reporting and delivery summaries for leadership

Communication & Leadership Skills

• Strong internal executive presence
• Crisp, structured communicator who can escalate issues clearly and hold teams accountable
• Comfortable leading internal meetings, driving alignment, and pushing back when timelines or expectations are unrealistic
• Strong judgment on when to escalate, when to resolve directly, and how to keep teams moving

• Delivery across both Revenue Strategy and AI engagements becomes more scalable, predictable, and operationally disciplined.

KPIs

• Engagement Setup & Roadmap Readiness: 100% of engagements are set up correctly in Asana with a current roadmap, clear owners, milestones, dependencies, and updated Next Up and Backlog lists.
• On-Time Delivery: 90%+ of key milestones and deliverables are completed on time across active client engagements.
• Risk & Scope Management: Risks, blockers, and off-scope requests are flagged early, with 100% of major issues documented and escalated before they materially impact timeline, budget, or client outcomes.
• Pacing & Margin Health: Engagements remain on pace and economically healthy, with overages proactively identified and tied to a clear action plan such as reprioritization, de-scope, or change order discussion.
• Portfolio Visibility & Reporting: Weekly portfolio reporting is delivered on time and accurately, giving leadership a clear view of delivery health, priorities, risks, and progress across all active engagements.
