Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for ER RNs - Join a Level II Trauma Center!

Job Description:


- 12-hour night shifts available
- Work in a 172-bed, Level II Trauma, Teaching Hospital
- Engage in a diverse patient population and various medical scenarios
- Serve as part of the only Trauma Center in Monterey County and surrounding communities
- Recognized as the Best Hospital in Salinas Valley - 2022

Key Requirements:


- Current CA RN license is a must
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Active TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER setting
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Additional Details:


- Experience a variety of high acuity traumas: MVA, penetrating wounds, falls, and more
- Well-supported environment with Charge RNs and break nurses available
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:4, with ICU or Stepdown considerations
- Approximate patient volume: 170 patients per day

Onboarding Process:


- Orientation provided on Mondays
- Complete necessary paperwork and obtain badge through Human Resources
- Undergo Respiratory Fit Test in Occupational Health
- Engage in further unit-specific training with Clinical Preceptors

Other Information:


- Scrubs: Any professional color, no facility logos
- Charting via Meditech; medication administration using Pyxis and IV pumps via Solaris
- Four-week scheduling with every other weekend commitment
