Auto Mechanic

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

*Duties*

* Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues efficiently
* Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and brakes.
* Conduct diesel engine repairs and service as needed
* Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems
* Replace or repair components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools
* Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
* Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

*Qualifications*

* Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
* Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools is essential
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools effectively
* Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
* Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs needed and completed work
* Valid driver’s license
