Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2800.27/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess the health status of high-risk obstetric patients and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and support systems to coordinate patient care and transitions.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately using electronic health records, including Epic.
  
  
• 
  Participate in staffing rotations, including night shifts and weekend responsibilities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active California RN license, verified within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification with valid expiration dates.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ability to complete required on-site EKG testing with an 80% passing score.
