Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1920 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: PICC/CVC management. Wound care.

Unit Details: Adult patient population age 18+; most patients are 65+. Critical access hospital setting with inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. No surgeries are performed in the building. Strong PT/OT/Speech and RT presence, with 24-hour provider coverage and 24-hour CT, X-ray, and lab availability.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation; if the traveler needs weekend shifts, it can be accommodated. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
