Pricing AnalystFull-time | Pricing | Location – Olathe, KSTVH is seeking a results-oriented Pricing Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to join our Pricing team at our office in Olathe, KS. As the Pricing Analyst, you’ll set and maintain sales pricing for the core market based on competitive analysis, market pricing and targeted profit margins as well as lead small projects of moderate to high complexity. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to various change projects as well as work with cutting edge pricing technology.YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou’ll deliver short- and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:Set, update and maintain OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and customer pricing in company systems and databasesDaily monitoring of key metrics to ensure optimal pricing to drive sales performance and profitability, in line with company targetsCollaborate with Sales and Purchasing to develop and refine pricing strategies for your sales channels and product categories.Develop and enhance market analysis skills to identify market trends and recommend price changes to meet designated profit margins and remain competitiveParticipate general sales and contract pricing reviewsResolve basic or moderately complex pricing discrepancies, ensuring accurate information on part numbers, descriptions, pricing or other maintenance items in the ERP system and other company databasesPrepare monthly reports & analysis for the management for your designated business areaHOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILEWe’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university OR a minimum of 2 years' work experience performing substantially similar functions with expertise in reading and interpreting pricing informationAdvanced proficiency in Excel and standard office toolsAble to independently analyze data, propose opportunities for improvement and implement themProficient problem solving and/or troubleshooting competency in resolving pricing questions of high complexityStrategic mindset with ability to apply departmental and company pricing rules, regulations and standards in performance of essential functionsDemonstrate proficient knowledge in sales processes and strategiesMaterial handling and/or industrial parts pricing experience preferredWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUYou’ll be part of a people-centric culture, where your well-being matters.
