Job Description
Title
Respiratory Therapist

Schedule
12hr Nights, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, no call, rotating holidays

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state
- RRT or CRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS healthcare provider certification
- NRP certification required
- Previous respiratory therapy experience strongly preferred
- Previous patient care experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
- Perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Evaluate, treat, and re-assess patients based on physician orders.
- Assist in the orientation and training of respiratory therapy and nursing personnel.
- Participate in emergency response teams as required.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices.
- Participate in departmental education and quality improvement initiatives.
