.Title: Project CoordinatorCompany: Global Power Components – Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week – multifacility support)Hire Type: Direct HireOverview:Global Power Components is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Project Support Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support Senior Project Managers in delivering complex, engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing projects. This role plays a critical part in bridging project management, production, and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on end-of-line inspection readiness, real-time project visibility, and cross-functional coordination. The position enables Project Managers to focus on customer alignment, scheduling strategy, and risk mitigation by ensuring accurate data, organized workflows, and consistent communication across multiple facilities.Purpose of the Role: To improve project execution outcomes by owning day-to-day workflow coordination, documentation readiness, and real-time production visibility, while providing a structured development path for employees seeking experience in project management, operations, and manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:1. Maintain and Upload Completed DocumentationSubmit and/or coordinate end-of-line paperwork prior to shipmentVerify: Customer supplied material completeness/accuracy, Equipment labeling and documentation (communication only), Maintain and upload standard inspection checklists across facilities2. Cross-Functional Communication SupportCollect and consolidate updates ahead of project meetingsTrack action items and ensure follow-through across teamsSupport alignment between engineering, supply chain, and production 3. Cross-Facility CoordinationSupport project execution across multiple buildings or production areasEnsure consistent communication between: Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Project ManagementAct as a central point for collecting and distributing project updates4. Shop Floor Engagement & ReportingConduct routine production floor walks to gather real-time updatesCapture and report: Percent complete by project or status reports, Bottlenecks and delays, Quality risks or rework issuesProvide actionable insights to Project Managers5. Material & Risk VisibilityTrack customer supplied materialIdentify risks impacting delivery timelinesEscalate critical issues early to support proactive decision-making6. Project Execution SupportMaintain real-time project status updates through daily coordination with production teamsAssist Project Managers with: material tracking and shortages, job progress visibility, schedule status updatesRequired Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication across multiple teams and functionsAbility to read drawings and understand BOMs at a basic levelComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred:Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial equipmentFamiliarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, Excel, etc.)Interest in project management, operations, or production workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Power Components
