Security Architect

A global financial institution is seeking a Security Architect to help design and evolve enterprise security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments. This role partners closely with engineering and DevSecOps teams to embed security into modern technology platforms while supporting regulatory and operational requirements. This position is ideal for a senior technologist transitioning from DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or security engineering into broader architectural responsibility. What You’ll Tackle Design and implement security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and applications Partner with DevSecOps and engineering teams to embed security into delivery pipelines Guide security design for enterprise initiatives and application platforms Evaluate technologies, identify security gaps, and recommend improvements Support incident response, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation Collaborate with vendors and oversee security solution implementations Provide hands-on support and mentoring when required What You Bring Senior-level experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, IAM, endpoint security) Strong understanding of cloud security architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience integrating security into application development or infrastructure delivery Working knowledge of encryption, PKI, firewalls, networking, and identity Strong communication and project ownership skills Nice to Have Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GSEC) On-prem to cloud migration leadership Experience with Microsoft-centric security platforms How We Work Architecture grounded in real-world delivery Strong partnership between security and engineering teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
