Accounting Support Specialist

Location: West Berlin, NJ (On-site)

Job Type: Part-Time (2–3 days per week, with potential to transition into Full-Time)

Business Hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

DFX Sound Vision is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Support Specialist to join our team in West Berlin, NJ. In this key administrative role, you will work closely with our Controller to manage day-to-day accounts payable duties, entry of vendor invoices, and credit card reconciliations.

This position is currently Part-Time (2 to 3 days per week) , with the opportunity for growth into a full-time position as business needs expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Bill Processing: Accurately enter, code, and process incoming vendor bills and invoices in QuickBooks.
• Credit Card Management: Record, reconcile, and monitor daily credit card charges and receipts.
• Controller Support: Assist the Controller with general accounting tasks.
• Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized physical and digital financial records, vendor statements, and receipts.
• Communication: Assist with vendor queries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• QuickBooks Proficiency: Direct, hands-on experience using QuickBooks is required.
• Accounting/Bookkeeping Experience: Strong familiarity with basic accounting principles, AP workflows, and vendor bill entry.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent data entry accuracy and organizational skills.
• Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• Growth Mindset: Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a role with increased hours and days worked.

Work Schedule & Benefits

• Schedule: Flexible 2–3 days per week (approx. 16–24 hours/week).
