What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
- Assist in preparing the operating suite and surgical instruments
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain sterile environment and proper infection control procedures
- Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Support the surgical team with efficient workflow and resource management
What You Need:
Required:- Current Louisiana RN License
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of perioperative or operating room nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in surgical settings
- Additional certifications relevant to perioperative care
