Training Specialist

Deliver engaging, product-focused virtual and onsite training to HealthStream customers and employees Design learner-centered training using adult learning principles and best practices Review and update training content to align with product releases, process changes, and learner needs Track training activity, attendance, and customer/internal feedback Maintain records of customer training activities for service continuity Collaborate with Sales, Implementations, Customer Success, and other internal teams Conduct or participate in product demonstrations and assist sales teams Assist with onboarding new training team members by sharing product knowledge, processes, and facilitation best practices Adhere to HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training Perform other duties and responsibilities determined by the Manager Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, instructional design, communications, business, biology, healthcare, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Registered Nurse preferred for roles supporting clinical solutions; other relevant clinical or healthcare experience may be considered Experience in software training, customer education, clinical education, instructional design, or a related training role Experience within the healthcare industry, including clinical education or staff development, is a plus Previous experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) and using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is a plus Working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles Must have or be willing to acquire working knowledge of HealthStream platform and content products Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms Professional-level verbal and written communication skills Presentation and facilitation skills across virtual, onsite, 1:1, and group training settings Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM platform Instructional design skills, including development and maintenance of learning materials Technical acumen to understand assigned products/solutions Ability to analyze training needs and define learning solutions Ability to function independently and use critical thinking Ability to interact and build relationships at various customer and internal organization levels Ability to collaborate cross-functionally Ability to coach and support onboarding and development of training team members Adaptability in a fast-paced, innovative environment Willingness to learn HealthStream platforms and products and commit to ongoing learning Results-oriented, customer-centric mindset High degree of integrity and professionalism Willingness to travel 25-60%, including overnight stays as needed Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles to deliver effective training solutions in the healthcare sector.
