As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.43 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location. Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
