Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Variable 10-Hour Shifts (Days/Evenings) | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | No Weekend or Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prep and recovery nursing care for patients undergoing Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Cardioversion procedures
• Monitor and assess adult and geriatric patients pre- and post-procedure in a 13-bed unit with patient ratios up to 1:4
• Perform vascular line pulls and post-procedure assessments following cardiac and IR interventions
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Prep and Recovery nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Post Anesthesia Recovery (PACU) settings
• Background in Cardiac Care Unit or similar specialty environment
• Familiarity with vascular access management and post-cardiac/IR procedure assessment
• Experience with Cerner EHR platform
