The role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while supporting a collaborative team environment. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: BLS certification from AHA, RN license in New Mexico or a current Compact state license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, 0 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights, effective communication skills tailored to patient developmental stages Float: Will float to all Medical-Surgical departments under appropriate supervision Responsibilities include obtaining initial assessments, developing and modifying care plans, performing point of care testing, and participating in patient education and discharge planning. The RN will delegate tasks as appropriate, coordinate team assignments, and ensure quality care while fostering a positive work environment.
