Overview
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (GI) in Potsdam, NY. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a travel assignment lasting Weeks. Earn $2,300 to $2,377 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Inpatient endoscopy/GI unit handling colonoscopy and EGD procedures with ~35 visits per day; 3 rooms / 9 beds. This assignment requires EPIC charting experience and provides block scheduling with some weekend call and one weeknight call every 7–12 days. NY license in hand is required to submit.

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient nursing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in the endoscopy/GI unit
- Assist during colonoscopy and EGD procedures; monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and monitor sedation and recovery per unit policy
- Prepare procedure rooms, assist GI team, and maintain sterile technique; coordinate with anesthesia as needed
- Document care and procedures in EPIC with accurate vital signs, progress notes, and procedure documentation
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure safety, education, and comfort

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year RN experience; traveler experience accepted for first-timers
- Inpatient GI/endoscopy experience; EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work in an inpatient endoscopy/GI unit; block scheduling; some floating per system notes
