As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet tools to document activity and communicate observations while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sun 12:0 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
